The commenting system built within friendfeed has the potential to take some of the conversation away from the original source. Brighter part is, it can add new audience into the conversation. Starting a topic within friendfeed and doing encouraging discussion is a bonus. Thanks to ‘Friendfeed Comments‘ WordPress plugin which pulls the comments and Like’s back from friendfeed and creates a copy at the original source. It’s the friendfeed’s data openness along with their API, which has made this possible. This beta plugin would need more tweaking to make it perfect. Hopefully, other blogging platforms will soon enable their community with a similar usecase.
